Preparing for your First Appointment With Inner Mind Guide

3 Steps and Additional Information

1.   Schedule and pay for your session online.  If you have questions you want answered before scheduling, please email me your list of questions to:  Dee@InnerMindGuide.com and we can talk about them.


2.   Preparing for your first appointment is very simple. You will print and fill out an Intake Form. (Use Button on the right)  You  can then email the completed Intake Form to me at:  Dee@InnerMindGuide.com  


3.   The third step is to relax.  You will soon learn that going into a trance is easy and peaceful.  It almost feels like allowing yourself to drift into sleep.  


The more comprehensive your answers are on the form, the better we can tailor the session to you.  And providing in-depth information allows for the specific information we need to establish a deep relaxing trance for you  and to complete the changes you want to make.


Additional Information:


  • Your initial session will be a relaxation trance to familiarize you with the process and feeling of going into a meditative state.  This will allow you to learn to trust my voice and the feeling of the deep relaxation needed to accomplish your desired results.
  • You may have someone present to observe our session if you feel a bit uncertain.
  • Know that you may exit the trance at any time for any reason.  You will remain safe and completely under your own control at all times. When you awake, you will be alert and feel well rested.
  • You may experience an emotional release and some people even cry a little bit during the trance.  This is good work and not at all unusual, as you will know you have tapped into your Inner Mind and you and your subconscious are working together.   Even your hypnotherapist has benefited from an experience like this.
  • Some types of desired changes may require multiple sessions. Issues such as weight loss and smoking cessation, among others, typically take 6-8 sessions or more, depending on your existing mental patterns and your ability to work in concert with your Inner Mind.  These sessions are best scheduled over a period of time to help reinforce your desired changes.  Other types of desired changes can be accomplished in 2-3 sessions.


Are results guaranteed?


Many people ask whether results are guaranteed.  The answer to that is - it depends upon you.  We can be assured that you will go into a trance -  if you are willing. We can be assured that we will ask your subconscious mind to change patterns that are no longer serving you well. Your willingness to truly make the change is the deciding factor.  Many people want to change at a surface level, but inside of themselves they experience some type of benefit for continuing the unhelpful pattern.  


For example, say someone wants to lose weight. And they start the weight loss sessions, but can't seem to follow through with some of the steps. 


There can be many reasons for this. One might be that the weight may stand as a protective barrier between them and something else that is more painful than being uncomfortable with their weight. Another might be that they can't change their eating patterns because it may feel like a separation from a loved one at meal time.  


These internal barriers need to be recognized, and through hypnosis can be addressed once the person can allow themselves to see and believe they will experience greater benefits in making the change.
